Summer is our favorite time of year. The kids can relax, enjoy time away from school, and we take a much needed family vacation. Unfortunately for many children living with pediatric brain tumors, summer is no time for a break. For many kids, like Briah above, summer represents a continuation of their treatment, frequent doctor visits, blood draws and scans. When not in treatment, Briah is a strong, vibrant, animal-loving 5 year old little girl. She is strong both emotionally and physically and is optimistic about everything she faces. Despite battling a pediatric brain tumor, Briah relishes every day, especially those when can get outside and play or crack open a book and read.

At IFF, we are excited that the amazing research being conducted at our sponsored research labs is paving the way for promising pediatric brain tumor treatments for children like Briah. If you haven’t already, read all about IFF’s work at leading institutions across the country here.   All of us at Ian’s Friends Foundation hope you have a wonderful summer. As always, thank you for all you do for IFF.
