Summer has been full of exciting news from the research labs that IFF helps to fund for specific pediatric brain tumor research. One incredible piece of news is the naming of the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta research laboratories in honor of Ian’s Friends Foundation. We could not be more grateful. Notably, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta celebrates their 100th anniversary this year. IFF congratulates them on their many years of outstanding medical care to the children in our community. You can read more about this milestone here.

Another research partner, NYU Langone, where IFF had funded research focused on proteins which are in pediatric low-grade gliomas, was recently ranked #12 in the US and #2 in New York in US News and World Report’s 2015-2016 hospital rankings. The goal of funding this low-grade glioma research was to better select molecular targeted drugs directed at the tumor’s pathways.

Bottom line, IFF is helping to fund research at the best hospitals and universities in the country. Thank you for your donations that help make this a reality. We appreciate you!
